for #1 ,according to the debug information, it's something wrong happened to the npc.
#2, sounds like we do not need escort this certain room, very possible I shaded this room in word given by mistake if you can finish this job without this room.
I'll check the code later today after offing.

for 2 when i find the information does not apper i control the character to go on then i still can finish the job
so i think this room delete from the south path of linan will be better
